This is strongly influenced by the knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of the elderly about COVID-19. The elderly are the population most at risk due to COVID-19 transmission. This population requires health education on the prevention and impact of COVID-19 transmission. One of the interventions that can be done is through tele -nursing. This study aimed to identify the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the elderly to prevent and manage COVID-19 after tele-nursing. This research uses quantitative descriptive on 101 elderly respondents in 26 sub-districts in West Java. The instrument consists of symptoms, knowledge, attitudes and behavior of COVID-19 in respondents who were measured after tele-nursing intervention in the elderly. The analysis uses percentage and frequency distribution. The results of the representative knowledge of respondents are good; only 31.7% of respondents do not know about the 2019 COVID-19 transmission through wild animals and 24.8% when there is no fever. The representation of the respondent's behavior after tele-nursing was nine respondents did not use masks, and 33 still went to crowded places, 33 did not wash their hands after handling objects, and 34 did not avoid touching the face area. The knowledge, attitudes and behavior of respondents illustrate the government's stay-at-home campaign and tele-nursing related to the prevention of COVID 19 in the elderly. Some respondents still have not carried out maximum prevention due to situations and conditions such as the economy, signals, ownership of smartphones. Therefore, an educational method is needed to increase knowledge, and adherence to taking iron supplements, and hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women. Objectives: To increase knowledge and adherence of taking iron supplements and hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women. Methods: This study is a pre-experimental study with one group pretest and post-test to evaluate the effect of nutrition education with video media on knowledge, adherence to taking iron supplements, and Hb levels in late-trimester pregnant women. The educational videos include material on the importance of taking iron supplements, how to consume them, and balanced nutrition for pregnant women. Result: There is a statistically significant difference between the knowledge and the adherence of pregnant women taking iron supplements before and after treatment or intervention with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Changes in Hb levels before and after treatment or intervention in the form of Educational Video for Iron Supplements (TTD) and Nutrition for Pregnant Women did not show a statistically significant difference with a significance value of 0.085 (> 0.05).Conclusion: Educational videos on iron supplements and nutrition for Pregnant Women affect knowledge and adherence of pregnant women taking iron supplements.
2023-12-07T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Kesehatan Komunitas (Journal of Community Health) https://jurnal.htp.ac.id/index.php/keskom/article/view/1569 Tobacco Related Content Analysis on YouTube: User Engagement Analysis 2023-06-23T09:50:55+00:00 Aditya Ramadona alramadona@ugm.ac.id Renie Cuyno Mellen renie.cuyno.m@mail.ugm.ac.id Ifa Najiyati Ifanajiyati578@gmail.com Zakiya Ammalia Farahdilla zakiyaammalia@gmail.com Retna Siwi Padmawati rspadmawati@ugm.ac.id
Penetration of the internet and social media in Indonesia is increasing, with the most significant percentage of its users coming from the youth. The internet and social media can be a medium for promoting and selling products to youth. This study aimed to identify and describe videos potentially suggested when users enter the keyword "rokok" in a search on YouTube. We hypothesized that tobacco-related videos on YouTube could contain materials that either refer to (1) tobacco advertising, promotion, and sponsorship (TAPS); or (2) Non-TAPS categories. Both types of materials could have different engagement from the viewers. A YouTube search was performed in October 2022, and we only consider the videos published during June 2022. We assigned our team to classify the video content to the TAPS and Non-TAPS categories based on its title and description. We analyzed the number of views, likes, and comments of each video descriptively. We obtained 210 videos and excluded 24 videos unrelated to the study objectives in terms of the context or the language used. Most videos are related to TAPS (84%), and very few contain Non-TAPS (16%), in particular anti-smoking, including Public Service Advertisements (3%). Non-TAPS-related videos were mainly published by News Channels and the Government Public Relations Office Channels (57%), while individuals, including MSMEs and retailers, seemingly published most TAPS-related videos (78%). In addition, TAPS-related videos tend to have a higher number of likes and comments from viewers. YouTube is a potential medium to attract viewers and promote health, but TAPS-related videos are much easier to find. Public health agencies should establish a more significant presence on YouTube to reach more people and engage in broader partnerships to promote health educational material.
2024-01-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Kesehatan Komunitas (Journal of Community Health) https://jurnal.htp.ac.id/index.php/keskom/article/view/1392 The Effect of the Existence of Larvae and 3M Plus Behavior on the Incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever 2022-12-15T03:47:27+00:00 Saadah Siregar ghozalirusman@gmail.com Sri Mulyani srimulyaniphd859@gmail.com Vincentia Ade Rizky vincentiarizky@gmail.com Dzul Akmal akmal.dzul@ymail.com Agung Sutriyawan agung.sutriawan@bku.ac.id

An infectious disease that is still a public health problem today is dengue hemorrhagic fever.
