Treatment of older adults COVID-19 survivors requires an intervention that is able to accelerate the recovery of older adults from fatigue. The purpose of the study was to look at the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation nursing interventions on fatigue in older adults COVID-19 survivors. Methods. this study used a quasi-experimental research design with the type of pretest and posttest without a control group. By using a sample calculation of the population hypothesis test, the minimum sample size is 40 older adults. In this study, the sampling method used was multistage random sampling. The study was conducted in June-August 2022. Bivariate analysis using Paired T-Test. Results/findings The results of the study found that there was an effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Nursing Intervention on the fatigue level of the older adults COVID-19 survivors at Pekanbaru with a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05). This can be seen from the changes in the level of fatigue before and after the intervention. If the PMR therapy is associated with fatigue, that is, when doing this therapy, the production of endorphins, enkephalins, and serotonin releases the hormones, which will then lead to a feeling of calm and relaxation. In conclusion, this PMR Nursing Intervention can be used as an alternative form of nursing intervention to overcome fatigue problems in older adults and can be carried out by nurses in primary health care.
2023-07-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Kesehatan Komunitas https://jurnal.htp.ac.id/index.php/keskom/article/view/1358 Waste Levy Willingness To Pay (WTP) Analysis Households In West Aceh Regency 2022-12-15T03:34:46+00:00 Serly Riski Amanda abdulazis@unsyiah.ac.id Fahmi Ichwansyah abdulazis@unsyiah.ac.id Irwan Saputra abdulazis@unsyiah.ac.id
Willingness To Pay (WTP) can be interpreted as how much people are willing to pay. However, there are several problems, namely until now the Willingness To Pay (WTP) waste retribution has not been maximized and this can be seen in the achievement of Regional Original Income (PAD) for waste retribution. Thus, the problem raised in this study is that the willingness to pay of the community to pay waste fees in West Aceh Regency is still low. The sample of this research was 34 pregnant women before delivery, divided into two groups, namely 17 respondents of pregnant women in the experimental group and 17 pregnant women in the control group by using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using the PRAQ-R2 questionnaire and the MIESRA application with data analysis using a t-test. There was a significant change before and after being given the mindfulness bonding intervention of mother and fetus using a smartphone on the anxiety of pregnant women before delivery (p-value = 0.001). Independent variables were gender, adolescent knowledge, parental education, parental occupation, pocket money, parental obesity status, physical activity, sleep quality, fast food consumption, and sugary drink consumption. The dependent variable was overweight/obesity. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariate, and multivariate. The results showed that the dominant variable associated with overweight/obesity was parental obesity status (OR=3.12; 95% CI: 1.25-7.83). Adolescents with obese parents were three times more likely to experience overweight/obesity compared to adolescents who did not have obese parents. Other associated variables were student knowledge (OR=2.62; 95% CI: 1.27-5.39) and sweet food habits (OR=2.34; 95% CI: 1.04-5.27).
