Nurses are required to be able to manage the stress they feel in maintaining mental health and optimizing services. This study is part of a qualitative method that explores experiences related to nurses' stress management strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research participants were 9 people, namely nurses who worked in the COVID-19 treatment room and were selected based on the purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted at 3 hospitals in Pekanbaru and started at the end of June 2021 until early August 2021. Data collection was carried out by interviewing techniques and data analysis techniques using Collaizy analysis. The results of this study indicate that doing activities that you like, telling stories with others, taking vitamins, and taking time to rest are strategies that are used to manage perceived stress. Poor sleep quality is one of the events that prolongs the patient's stay in the ICU. Sleep disturbances in critically ill patients occur from the initial phase of treatment to the late stages of recovery for more than two decades. The causes of disturbances in the quality and quantity of sleep in critically ill patients are the patient's own illness, the effects of drugs, psychological factors, the environment, namely noise, lighting, patient and provider interactions. health services and treatment procedures. This study aimed to identify the difference of sleep quality on patients in the ICU after using earplugs and eyemasks. This study was quasi experiment study with nonequivalent control group design. Respondents in this study amounted to 15 patients treated in the ICU obtained from 30 samples of patients. This study states that 10-17% of the noise in the intensive care unit is at a level that causes patients to wake up and wake up from their sleep, namely the noise reaches 70dB and is mostly caused by communication between staff and patients or with others as well as television. The noise experienced by the patient can come from the bedsite monitor alarm, the infusion/syringe pump alarm, pulse oximetry, the voice of the officer's telephone, television, room telephone and ventilator alarm. The provision of a combination earplug and eye mask intervention to improve the quality of sleep of patients in the intensive room of Bhakti Wira Tamtama Hospital Semarang proved to be very significant, with a p value of 0.000. Recommendations for further research are that more in-depth interventions can be carried out by paying attention to other factors, namely the patient's condition, giving nursing interventions at night to the use of medications that affect the quality of sleep of patients in the intensive care unit.
2022-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Jurnal Kesehatan Komunitas https://jurnal.htp.ac.id/index.php/keskom/article/view/1161 Differences in Effectiveness of Use of Educational Media on Anemia Towards Knowledge, Attitude, SelfEfficiency of Adolescent Women in Sirnagalih Village 2022-03-17T00:33:45+00:00 Alifah Safira Amperatmoko alifahamperatmoko@upnvj.ac.id Apriningsih Apriningsih apriningsih@upnvj.ac.id Feda Anisah Makkiyah fedaanisah@upnvj.id Widayani Wahyuningtyas widayaniwahyuningtyas@upnvj.ac.id
Efforts to prevent anemia in adolescent girls are very important to prevent the risk of abortion, low birth weight infant, the uterus cannot contract properly, bleeding after delivery which results in death. The limited availability of direct and effective health education media, such as comics, is one of the factors behind the low awareness of adolescents in caring for their reproductive organs. Comic media is widely accepted as a teaching tool among students, but the availability of comics that focus on health issues is still very limited. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of health comics in an effort to recognize the signs, symptoms and prevention of pathological vaginal discharge. This study was conducted at SMAN 1 Musirawas in August 2021. The study design was Quasi Experimental, used one group with pretest-posttest. The sample was 66 respondents who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected in two stages, before and after the educational intervention using two instruments, namely the characteristics of the respondents and knowledge about pathological vaginal discharge. The reliability test of the questionnaire used the split half technique with a 71% variable level. The data were analyzed using the Wilxocon test. The results of the analysis showed that there was an increase in knowledge in an effort to recognize the signs, symptoms and prevention of pathological vaginal discharge after being given an intervention with Health Comics on the posttest results with an increase of 24,28% and an increase in the average score of 7,2 points. This study was a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest to determine the effect of listening to Surah Ar-Rahman's on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Putri Ayu Health Center Jambi City. This research was conducted from January to July 2019 at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. The population in this study was the target of postpartum mothers at the Putri Ayu Health Center in 2019 which amounted to 859 people. The sample in this study was taken by the purposive sampling technique. The research data used a questionnaire to determine the amount of breast milk production in postpartum mothers. The data collected were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. The results showed that the production of breast milk in postpartum mothers before being given Surah Ar-Rahman was in the fairly smooth category, namely as many as 24 respondents (57.1%) and before being given Ar-Rahman's letter in the current category, namely 37 respondents (88.1%).
