Analysis of Standards and Performance of Physical Facilities According to User Perceptions of the Emergency Department of ‘Aisyiyah Pariaman Hospital in 2022

standard is regulated in Permenkes No. 24 of 2016 concerning Technical Requirements for Hospital Buildings and Infrastructure. Evaluation of the facilities used is known as Post Occupancy Evaluation (EPH). This study aims to describe the condition of the Emergency Department (ED) facilities by comparing field conditions and established standards. The research method uses a mixed approach (mix method) with *explanatory sequential* design. The population consisted of external and internal users, with sampling using consecutive sampling (external) and simple random sampling (internal). The quantitative approach was carried out through descriptive and observational methods, followed by a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. The results showed that the fulfilment of the emergency room standards of ‘Aisyiyah Pariaman Hospital had only reached 50%, and the fulfilment of the type of room was only 29%, still far from the established standards. Assessment of emergency department performance from external and internal users showed unsatisfactory results. The lowest aspect according to external users is safety (score 2.087), while according to internal users is convenience (score 2.000). There is a significant relationship between the fulfilment of standards and physical aspects of IGD. Therefore, it is necessary to revitalise the IGD according to regulations and improve aspects of security and ease of service.
