Abstract

The Langsat Health Center in Pekanbaru City was not managing the high prevalence of People with Severe Mental Disorders (ODGJ) optimally. This was due to lack of personnel and the absence of a mental health post that was used to provide integrated mental health services. The purpose of community service is to raise awareness of the value of mental health in Posyandu among all medical staff members who work in community health centers. The method was carried out by socialization and mutual commitment to ensure the success of the Mental Health Posyandu program at the Langsat Community Health Center in Pekanbaru City. Every officer at a community health center took part in the socialization process. The activity resulted in the officers' understanding of the concept of Mental Health Posyandu after the socialization process was completed. Additionally, the Community Health Center is committed to making this program one of its programs and would use it as an innovation program for the health center. To continue this activity, interested parties will be contacted, including the Pekanbaru City Social Service, Mental Hospital, Sukajadi Subdistrict Head, Village Head Kampung Tengah, Village Head Kampung Melayu,  Village Jadirejo, and the community as a whole, who will take part as a cadre in Mental Health Posyandu activities.

Abstrak

Tingginya angka kejadian Orang Dengan Gangguna Jiwa (ODGJ) Berat di Puskesmas Langsat Kota Pekanbaru tidak tertangani dengan optimal. Hal ini karena kurangnya tenaga dan belum adanya Posyandu Jiwa yang dapat digunakan dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan jiwa secara terpadu. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah memberikan sosialisasi kepada seluruh tenaga kesehatan yang terlibat di puskesmas tentang pentingnya Posyandu Kesehatan Jiwa. Metode kegiatan melalui sosialisasi dan komitmen bersama dalam mensukseskan program Posyandu Kesehatan Jiwa di Puskesmas Langsat Kota Pekanbaru. Peserta sosialisasi adalah seluruh petugas puskesmas. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dapat diketahui bahwa para petugas memahami konsep dari Posyandu Kesehatan Jiwa dan Puskesmas berkomitmen menjadikan program ini sebagai salah satu program puskesmas dan akan dijadikan program inovasi puskesmas karena belum ada Posyandu Kesehatan Jiwa di Kota Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini akan terus dilanjutkan dengan melakukan pendekatan kepada pihak-pihak berkepentingan seperti Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pekanbaru, Dinas Sosial Kota Pekanbaru, Rumah Sakit Jiwa, Camat Kecamatan Sukajadi, Lurah Kelurahan Jadirejo, Lurah Kampung Tengah, dan Lurah Kampung Melayu, serta Masyarakat yang akan ikut berpartisipasi sebagai kader dalam kegaitan Posyandu Kesehatan Jiwa.
