Dampak Distraksi Audiovisual Terhadap Distress Anak Yang Mendapatkan Terapi Inhalasi

Abstrak

Terapi inhalasi sebagai salah satu penatalaksanaan anak dengan gangguan sistem pernapasan yang seringkali menyebabkan distress khususnya pada young children. Distress saat pemberian terapi inhalasi dapat menurunkan efektivitas pengobatan yang diberikan. Tujuan proyek inovasi ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas distraksi audiovisual pada anak yang mendapatkan terapi inhalasi dan gangguan sistem pernapasan yang dihubungkan dengan distress anak selama terapi inhalasi. Metode proyek inovasi ini menggunakan PICO. Sampel berjumlah 15 orang yang terdiri dari 8 orang kelompok kontrol dan 7 orang kelompok intervensi. Hasil proyek inovasi menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara nilai distress anak pada kelompok dengan perawatan rutin dan kelompok yang mendaptkan intervensi distraksi audiovisual  (p=0,001). Kesimpulan: Intervensi distraksi audiovisual diharapkan dapat diterapkan pada anak dengan gangguan pemenuhan oksigen yang mengalami distress saat terapi inhalasi.
