Hubungan Self Efficacy dengan Self Care Management Hipertensi pada Lansia di UPT PSTW Jember

Pendahuluan: Peningkatan jumah kasus hipertensi pada lansia disebabkan karena lansia tidak mampu dalam melakukan self-care management hipertensi dengan baik. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh self-efficacy yang dimiliki lansia untuk melakukan perawatan diri dengan baik, sehingga dapat menurunkan terjadinya komplikasi hipertensi. Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dengan self-care management hipertensi pada lansia. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Secara keseluruhan, sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 35 lansia hipertensi di UPT PSTW Jember melalui teknik consecitive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman-rho. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan self-efficacy lansia memiliki nilai tengah 25 yang dapat diinterpretasikan dalam kategori sedang. Mayoritas lansia memiliki self-care management hipertensi dalam kategori sedang (74%), kategori baik (23%), dan kategori rendah (3%). Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yng signifikan anatara self-efficacy dengan self-care management hipertensi dengan nilai p=0,001<0,005 dan koefisien korelasi dengan nilai positif yaitu 0,549. Simpulan: adanya hubungan signifikan antara self efficacy dengan self care management hipertensi pada lansia di UPT PSTW Jember, dimana semakin tinggi self efficacy lansia maka akan semakin tinggi self care management hipertensi pada lansia. Dalam hal ini sangat penting untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy lansia di UPT PSTW Jember agar memiliki self-care management yang lebih baik.
