Kematian Akibat Covid-19 di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu: Studi Epidemiologi Deskriptif

Semenjak COVID-19 muncul di Wuhan dan merebak ke seluruh penjuru dunia, dilaporkan banyak kematian yang terjadi. Beberapa studi menyebutkan kematian terjadi diperberat oleh beberapa penyakit penyerta yang di derita sebelumnya. Tujuan Penelitian: Mendeskripsikan kematian penderita COVID-19 di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Metodologi: Dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis eksporatif. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari data surveilans epidemiologi Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Kematian Akibat COVID-19 di ekspolasi menurut jenis kelamin, tanda dan gejala, penyakit penyerta dan tempat dirawat. Hasil: Sebanyak 356 dari 5319 orang (6.69%) meninggal akibat COVID-19. Distribusi kematian terbanyak pada jenis kelamin perempuan sebesar 51.97%. Sebagian besar kematian terjadi pada penderita COVID-19 dengan beberapa penyakit penyerta seperti pneumonia (35.53%), diabetes melitus (26.40%), hipertensi (15.23%), penyakit jantung (14.21%) gagal ginjal (8.12%), dan penyakit lainnya (36.55%). Dari seluruh kematian, 84.83% meninggal di rumah sakit. Simpulan: Kematian penderita COVID-19 di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu banyak terjadi pada perempuan, memiliki komorbid penyakit lainnya dan diikuti pneumonia.
