Efek Cycling Pada Endothelial Progenitor Cell (EPC) Terhadap Risiko Cardiovascular Desease Pada Lanjut Usia : Systematic Review

Peroses Penuaan menyebabkan penurunan fungsi endotel pada vascular sehingga menimbulkan resiko penyakit cardiovasculer. Aktifitas fisik telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan fungsi endotel. Tinjauan sistematis ini bertujuan untuk mereview artikel yang diterbitkan tentang efek aktivitas fisik (PA) cycling terhadap biomarker fungsi sel endotel pada resiko penyakit kardiovaskuler. Studi yang melibatkan faktor angiogenik dicari di perpustakaan Medline dan Cochrane. Studi manusia asli lebih dari 2 minggu intervensi PA disertakan. Kualitas studi dinilai menurut sistem bukti GRADE. Hasil lima artikel lengkap sesuai kriteria inklusi. Cycling meningkatkan angiogenik, sel progenitor endotel (EPC) dan VEGF menurun. Pengaruh PA pada faktor ini tampaknya bergantung pada jenis dan durasi intervensi latihan dan faktor pasien, seperti adanya iskemia. Seperti yang disajikan dalam ulasan ini, terdapat bukti yang kuat bahwa aktivitas fisik cycling secara positif memengaruhi fungsi sel endotel dan menentukan resiko sakit karciovaskuler
